Some Recounts

In the weekend I went to soccer. My team won all our games. After soccer I went to my friend's house. Tom came for dinner. It was an awesome weekend.

I went on a plane to Canada. I got no sleep on the plane because Zoe took up all the pillows. My highlight in Canada was seeing my cousins. It was very hot there.

In the weekend I played Minecraft. I have been building an underground house and I have built a farm, a tower and almost finished my bedroom. It has a crafting table used to make tools and two furnaces to cook and smelt things. My house has a big adventure shaft. I also escaped a death trap.if you step on a pressure plate lots of t and t explodes. Luckily i survived.

In the weekend I went to the Grand Nationals horse races with Dad and Millie. When we were in we all put on a bet. All my horses that i bet n came in a place. We all got lots of money.

Every day we catch the bus to Pioneer pool. It is really warm inside and the water is also lovely and warm. Some of us have been doing lots of lengths and widths. Josh is learning to breathe and use his arms at the same time. Tom is doing sidestroke which is a survival stroke. Tom and Josh

Book Week 2012- Heroes, Honours and History

Our Book Week has been fantastic.
We have had teacher read arounds, buddy reading, book swaps, literary lunches, quizzes and competitions.
The highlight was the book parade today.

Term 2

This term we are going to be very busy with swimming, book week, olympic studies and science.
For writing we are starting to write poems.
Today we had fun rhyming words and making number poems.
