Cool, crazy cupcakes.

We are really looking forward to morning tea!
Jack arrived at school this morning with a container full of  scrumptious looking cupcakes.
Yesterday Jack went home and baked the recipe that Chelsea wrote for our class cookbook.
He made some very creative decorations for the top.

A Really Early Start

Did you see us on TV? We had an early start this morning so that we could be on the Breakfast show with Tamati. We showed the whole country what to do during an earthquake.

My birthday

On Friday morning I woke up feeling excited because it was my birthday. It took five mins for them to come and finally my family came  and they  and dumped all my presents on my bed. After school I had my party at the beach. We played beach soccer and ate a soccer cake.

Awesome Fair

I went to the Redcliffs fair with Finn and Zoe on Sunday. First we went on the  
Titanic. It was awesomely awesome but it felt like a short time. Then we went
 roundy things they went fast and it looked like we were going to crash.

On Saturday I was so excited to go to tennis with Evie. Me
And Evie had so much fun playing tennis.  After tennis
Emily came to my house and we went to a cafe.
 And gots some seaweed for the garden and went to the chocolate
Shop. At six o'clock I went to Evies for a sleep over.
And we had pizza from wini bagoes and we watched tinker bell
After that we went to bed in the morning my mum came to
Pick me up and after she picked me up we went out to brunch.
                                     

A new DOG

I was so excited that we were getting a new dog.It started out like a normal day but every one was excited and jumping about.We got in the car and got my brothers friend then we started talking about the name we had decided on last night it was Barney .Personly  I think it's a really cute name for a brown spoodle anyway back to the story we had to do some jobs like get my sister some new school shoes.When we got there it looked like a mini farm (which it was) .There were 5 kids and puppy's. our  one was the lightest coated dog .

Art and Experiments

Above is some beautiful art that we did with Mrs Berwick last week. The portraits are inspired by Matisse and are abstract with creative and colourful backgrounds.


Next week we will be having a Science Expo at our school. We have learned to make a table to collect information.We are learning to ask good questions. We had to brainstorm some ideas.

The Marvellous Mural

 

What you see here is a colourful mural of Sumner. Previously it was hanging on the old Sumner School Hall. It was put into storage after the earthquake, and now it has been moved to Room 14. We love having the mural outside our classroom.
