Term 2
This term we are going to be very busy with swimming, book week, olympic studies and science.
For writing we are starting to write poems.
Today we had fun rhyming words and making number poems.
These are some of our favourite number poems...
Zero
Zero is a hero
He ate a cheerio.
One
One son ate a bun
For a bit of fun.
Two
Number two played with goo.
Three
I see a bee or three looking at me.
Four
I walked out the door and saw
Four boars breaking the law.
Five
Five kids take a dive
They drive into a hive.
Six
The boy was six
He liked to do kicks and tricks.
Seven
In our family we have seven.
The youngest is baby Kevin.
Eight
I have a gate
It is the number eight.
Nine
The nine fine lines combine
To have a fine time.
Ten
When Big Ben was ten
He found a hen.
Ben called him Ken.
