On Wednesday the whole school has to dress in yellow because we had some solar panels put into our school. We have to sing the song "Here Comes The Sun"

Mt hut snowbording

In the weekend I went snowboarding with my dad.First we went half way up the mountain and came down really fast and then we did it again but it stopped a lot this time. Then we went on the biggest one and went down the cat track it was amazing. Daddy took some videos and fell over.

Models

Last week room14 started making models it was for our playground design.We need models so we can see what we want to have on our playground.So when we finish everyone can see what you would like on your playground.by Ben.W

Year2 Come To See Playgrounds

Once the Year2s came to see what we had done about the playgrounds. First we had a slideshow
on of photos' while we waited for them to come in. Then I stepped forward and talked about the bus tour and the top secret letter Mr Cameron gave us. Then some people did PMIs. Then4 people answered questions. It was awesome. By Jamie

We have been making play ground  models  in room 14. We have been making them out of  cardboard and tubes. We will show Mr Cameron and hopefully our playground will look like our models.

The Snow Parlour

Last week on Wednesday morning it was SNOWING!!!
That day we had to go home because it was snowing to much. We went home with our friends mum.We walked to their house it was so so so awesome because they live by the beach. We got to go along the Esplanade. Ther really was snow down to sea level. We got to throw snow balls at each other. I got cold but it was fun.by Tom

Reading maps

In maths we been reading maps and doing directions. Today we had to find our own house on a Sumner map.by Pearce

Instructions

We are going to show you how to make a sandwich.
List of ingredients
A sausage roll
Some mint
Tomato sauce
An oven
A knife

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180c
Put the sausage in oven for 15 mins.
Slice bread roll in half.
Take sausage out of oven and poke the mint into the sausage
Put sausage onto the bread roll.
Slam it onto a plate.
 Squeeze the tomato sauce on top of sausage.
Finally you get to eat it.

Snow Day

Last week on Wednesday it was snowing! Every one was so exited when they got to school. Then they all went to maths.It started to rain then it was finish. It was snowing! School had to close and we started late the next day.

Poi Making

Every Tuesday we go to different classes for our team's Arts interchange. So far we have drawn cartoons and sung waiata. This week we made poi. We used plastic bags and a length of string. Now we can do lots of swinging and singing.
